I doubt it .. it will Bahala na and life will go on .. albeit with the whole economy of the area in shambles ..

Filipinos will riot for stuff like law making planking illegal, or some hollywood actress demeaning pinoys, or some Fil-Am getting cold shouldered in USA, and such, but real issues like poverty, loss of jobs, NPA, Abu Sayaf, kidnappings, murders etc are far low in their totem pole of priorities ..and deemed worthless to protest or riot

PS: did anybody see the Davao Mayor scoring points with her personal advice on how screwed up Cebu Pacific is ? if she was such an expert, she should be running an airline ... but, hey, who cares - the Davaoanos have complete faith in their Dear Leader and the were ready to go and destroy the plane stuck in the runway, piece by piece, never mind that plane was worth only 50 Million $ and Aviation law says unless and until investigation is completed, do not move the aircraft

I think you overestimated the bars....... in CDC alone they employ 35,000 pinoys
while the number in Fields/Perimeter is about 8,000.
The politicians dun care if the bars and hotels goes bust as they are foreign owned and money made by them goes to the foreigners..... and not the Filipino people.

Many bars seem to be missing their farang manager, but there are still a few such managers around. The key thing is that it seems no bar has closed because it lost its foreign manager.

However, there now seems to be only 1 girl outside each bar trying to get guys to go inside. As for not being allowed to wear sexy clothes, not sure what that means. The girls might be wearing a miniskirt, but they show less skin than regular girls wearing cut-offs shopping at SM Mall.

If the Filipinos can kick the USAF and US Navy out, which were employing lots of people, they can surely kick the AC bars out or make it so that the girls can’t leave early with a customer.

If the pressure on the farang bars from the Filipinos gets too much to bear, maybe they’ll just move to Subic/Olongapo. However, if there are too many of them, maybe the local politicians in Subic will try to shutter or sanitize them too.

About 6 months ago there was a Cebu Pacific promotion and I grabbed a return ticket to Clark. My flight is next Thursday (20/6 @ 1625 hrs on 5J 538) and return on Sunday (23/6 @ 1210 hrs on 5J 537). I had fully paid up and have a printed itinerary with the above dates.

This morning I went into the Cebu Pacific website to check my flight details as I have a colleague who wants to join me on this trip. KNN I could not find my booking when I input my date as 20/6/13. !

Later in the afternoon I went home and retrieve my booking receipt and went to check the website again with my booking reference..... I was shocked when my itinerary came out... It put my flight as leaving on Friday (21/6 instead of 20/6). I immediately tried to contact the airline but the 2 contact numbers available were both Philippine numbers which I could not get any connection.
I have also sent a few emails but until now not have any reply yet.

Did anybody else have this problem? How can they just anyhow change my flight date WITHOUT informing me at all.

You might wana check your junk box if they have sent you any information on the changes earlier. I had similar issues before with scoot and tiger and both refunded me. There was nothing I could do as the plane was already full.

I fly Cebu pacific every month and yes i have had schedule change before. They will send you an email informing you about the change and tentatively book a flight for you closest to actual date.
You have many options after that and I find the options excellent for me. Anyway their local number is 631580808.

Fool-proof BI arrival/departure stamps launched

MANILA, Philippines—The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday started marking new arrival and departure stamps on passports of all international travelers in its bid to eradicate forgery that spurred human trafficking and evasion of immigration fees.

Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. said the new stamps contain security features that any attempt to replicate them can easily be detected by immigration officials stationed in all ports across the country.

Dubbed as the Bureau of Immigration Border Stamps, its usage began midnight Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Immigration officers at the airports of Cebu, Clark, Davao, Iloilo and Kalibo have also started using the new seals on Wednesday, according to David.

The old immigration arrival and departure stamps will no longer be recognized by authorities.

Arrived 1am, airport exchange rates much better for thai baht than in checkpt. 1.36 against 1.33
SGD at 33.7 today at checkpt.
Landed only received text from girl hv mens offered bbbjtc.
Went for supper n then pool at fields, very quiet in WS.
Returned hotel for shower n sleep, texting girl to come 10am.

Woken up by knock on door at 1030, let her in n went to sleep again while she shower.
Woken up again w nice sensation at my bro, start of bbbj.
Abt 20 mins later CIM n went to sleep again.
2 more awakening n bbbjcim sexxions , paid n she left at 4pm.

5pm
Met bro willytell at stampede, some new n ok looking girls one which willytell bought few LDs.
Stayed for an hour n off to dinner at Icarus when another girl texted wanted to meet but i was drained so rejected.
Anyway met her at skytrax n gave her dinner money at same time introduced to willytell.
Approached by a few FLs but they seem abit too young though they claimed 19, so no go.

Went butterfly rock for pool n willytell barfined a girl.
Just now girl texted again n i told her meet next morning.

Bro willytell brought the girl back to hotel, later left her in room n we went for supper.

I have checked and double checked all my emails and junk mails too. There was no notification from Cebu Pacific about my flight changes. If I had not went into the website today.... I would not have even known about the flight changes.


Anyway I just received an automated reply from Cebu service desk to my earlier emails stating that they are looking into the matter and will reply me in 7 days !! ..... by then my flight would have taken off.

Damn fuck up!!!
