Cant join the other evertonians at SODs due to a slight fever. But glad to see Everton leading 1-0. Keep it up, blues!

i just came back from SOD, turnout was alrite, abt 50 evertonians in the hse..great atmosphere and drinks..only thing was the result and Fucking ref..
everton played well..now im gng to sulk for weeks to come..haizzzzzz
bro tom, shame u coulnt make it, will love to meet up n chat with u..
next time prehaps.. or maybe i shld TRY n join yr clubbing session.. hahaha

I guess my illness is ominous for the derby match. Haa. Ref is definitely biased against Everton from his penalty decisions.

Lescott seems to be revelling in the left back role but I think we should get another playmaker and central defender soon. The squad is rather thin now.

Lescott's performance was awesome. Everton were hard done by when Finnan had his arms around Lescott but the ref felt it wasnt a penalty.

It was a big game and the ref was the man of the match. Hibbert's foul on Gerrard was at most a booking. Gerrard still had the keeper to beat and wasnt clear on goal. The ref was going to book Hibbert until Gerrard's complaint then the ref reached for the red card in his shirt pocket. Didnt you guys see Gerrard shook the ref's hand when he substituted as he left the field?

The ref didnt reach for the red card when Kuyt flew in 2 footed at Neville. Definitely man of the match performance.

The ref's performance was abysmal. Hibbert was pulling Gerald as much as Gerald was pushing Hibbert away. Its a 50-50 attempt to put the attacker off. If the ref is keeping a hardline stance on tackles then Kuyt should be off for way over the top lunge! Then the wrestling tackles from Finnan and Carragher should be punished too! FIFA really need to overhaul the refereering system sooner rather than later.

Btw, Mark Catterburg has been demoted for his performance, if that is any consolation for the toffees fan.

McEveley relishing Toffees clash

Derby defender Jay McEveley intends to show Everton what they missed out on when they visit Pride Park on Sunday.

The Toffees YTS does not attract enuff young talents because of its limited scouting network. That should change after heavy investment in its training facilities. But at the moment, they should really stop the outflow of talents from its YTS. Baines is a recent example of the failing of Everton's YTS n the crop of recent Liverpool stars like Owen, Steve Mac, Folwer n Carragher were all Toffees wannabes once.

Frankly speaking, I dun think Yak played particularly well but our midfield still managed to cruised through the entire match. Hopefully toffees can step up a notch and get their season together once more.

PS: I was quite impressed with Piennar's performance. I reckon he and Lescott were the better performancers against Bolton.
