looks like jetstar did block off some flight date ...
and open them up when the date is closer ??

flight to MFM in jun is damn cheap ...
total include tax is $142 (2 way) ....

Jetstar have changed their flight time to MFM from 1555hrs to 1410hrs starting 29th mar ...

thus we'll arrive in MFM at 1745hrs and able to take the coash thru 横川关口 instead of 共北关口 which is always crowded especially during peak hour ..

Tiger airfares can be more expensive compared to jetstar as their charges are almost doubled.

Fully agreed. I would prefer Jetstar anytime..I had to take Tiger coz it doesn't fly to my destination(ShenZhen). If not, I wouldn't even bother...

cannot agree any less with u abt tigerairway ....
if it's not becoz of the timing and destinations ... tigerairway can forget abt me boarding their plane ....
sucks big time in terms of service, restrictions, unflexibility and the stupid budget terminal ...

matter of fact ... with all the hidden cost like check-in baggage fee, seat selection fee ... it ain't cost cheaper to fly tigerairway ...

I just booked Silkair to SZ for 4 guys at $428 return each in March. CP here we come. Cheong arh!!!! Tiger sucks as it has too many hidden costs

You are right, just checked jetstar website.It is indeed affordable and real bargain.

Thanks. Went by Jetstar via Macau last time. Too much hassle crossing the customs. We are old men in 50's and 60's. Want a bit of comfort lah

no good or bad choice lah.. just personal prefercence lah..

They are flying to SZ.. so i think they dun cheong ZH also, should be straight to CP/CA.. so no point go thru Macau..

Also if no go ZH to cheong, or Macau casino, no point.. cause still need to take a 2hr ride by Bus, Car to CP.. waste time also.. somemore also means more money as well..

I have done a check on the cost of flying to MAcau by taking Jet star and tiger..

The lowest i can go is

Jetstar- $140(2way)
Tiger - $260(2way)

Tiger that 2 for 1.. I dun really knows how it works.. Dun really understand what they want..

But how to go along doing it??? i try to buy 2 tickets.. but the price is still $520 for 2 leh...

Dun really think this Tiger is going to be cheaper than Jetstar.. unless they lower their Taxes surcharge.. somemore they still have baggage charge..

Jetstar (Taxes)
SIN-MFM $45
MFM-SIN $37

Tiger (Taxes)
SIN-MFM $85
MFM-SIN $95

The diff in taxes is almost double..

Also Jetstar Ticket cheapest is $29. Tiger is $40..

Ony advantage Tiger has is they fly more times than jetstar. also everyday..

Regarding the coach to GongBei via Hengqing customs, it is not easy to book. I tried before, waited 1 hour (the recep told me to wait). When I go back to her after 1 hour, she told me got problem. I got fed up, show black face and demand she return the RMB50 I gave her earlier. Then I took cab to GongBei customs and squeeze with the ppl there. Lucky still reach JLWH hotel in time....
