You can look at this from two angles:

1 - The customer fancies it and sees it worth the price and goes for it. Totally personal preference. We can’t stop anyone from volunteering to be a carrot head because they have a particular fetish.

2 - The service provider sees this as the new established going rate and increases prices. If the customer questions, she will say others are already willing to pay this.

Then you’re left with three choices:
1 - Become another carrot head and contribute to the cycle.
2 - Negotiate for lesser rate but she might provide poorer service
3 - Reject and move on. Find a competitor provider.

I expect majority to choose 1 or 3.
