Malio has tiers for locals. Foreigner is a lot more expensive than the highest tier of local.

I haven't been to 1001 so I can't say about that place. I've been meaning to give the place a try, but haven't found the right time (and budget) for it

Just fresh out of 1001, owe my visit to the guidance of bros in this forum. My only regret is I didn’t visit 1001 sooner.

Quick story time:
Arrived and was greeted promptly by mamasan, ushered to 3rd floor for viewing. I visited around 9pm, there was about 30 girls in contest, so plenty to choose from.
