my usual money changer gives me 8830 to 8850 for usd

The rates for USD are always better. That is the reason why I always bring USD along when in Laos with SGD as backup. The rates I got last time was 630k for 100SGD.

Yes, Thai baht is readily acceptable in Vientiane, same as USD and Laotian kips.

Nice restaurants will print invoice in 3 currencies - Kip, Baht and USD.
Food stalls will accept THB as well but will usually give you change in Kips.
Massage and KTV no worries, Kip, THB, USD all works
MYR and SGD, you can give it as tips in KTVs

Gold shop money changers at malls or markets may give you 290,000kips to THB1,000

Restaurants probably less like 280,000 or so.

just bring them along, and swop some kip if you need them. usually payment in ktvs, restaurants all marked up.
you end up paying more. use the small usd n baht as tips as it will be lower than paying 10k 20k tips everytime

Firstly have to thank all senior bros who posted info and answered my PMs on this thread. You made exploring Vientiane much easier.

I was recently in Vientiane for 3 days. In that time, checked out 2 reccos;

First night, went to the spa at Vientiane Plaza Hotel, was there at about 7:00pm on a Thursday. Stock like not much leh. Like 4 girls only and quality not amazing. I picked the one that smiled at me. Her service was a bit rushed. Rode and pumped me damn hard like trying to get me to finish fast. Capped BJ (but idm that. I never do BBBJ). From massage to finish about 30 minutes. But ok la not bad quite pretty, slim with C-cup natural boobs. Age about 25-27 years old. Paid for short time, did on premises and left. Paid 530k kip in total. Maybe bros can tell me where i went wrong? Did I go at the wrong time?


Second night, checked out one of the local farms at the recommendation of a driver. That was much better. There were about 30 girls in total with a huge age range from ssyt to MILFy. Picked out a girl I liked and after making sure above 18 years old (20 years old), went for ST in a nearby guest house. Also, I think the price of 150k kip for short time as per this thread is a bit on the low side. Mamasan said the price for the girls range from 150k kip to 250k kip for ST. In this case, I pad 200k kip. If i overpaid, sorry to other chiongsters, will negotiate harder next time in my broken thai.

Girl was quite shy, and seemed slightly inexperienced. But after warmup allowed kissing and changed from missionary to doggy and was clearly feeling shiok. Finished in doggy. In all, not bad. Bros who like good service and nice venue will NOT like this place. IMO idm lah. Trade off. You get the local food then cannot expect Bangkok level soapy right?

In all, Vientiane is somewhere I will stop by if convenient. Service cannot fight joints like Bangkok Mitu, but that one rly expensive also so cannot suka suka go. Next time may check out the KTVs.

Hi bro, went to Vientiane 2 weeks ago and stayed in Azalea. No issue bringing girl back. However first night we came back in group of >10 (6 guys with 1 girl each) around 1am, the hotel receptionist was a bit shocked to see so many people so I think it is better to be more discrete when bring the girl back.
