Dun be conned by the gals, very unlikely no salary n juz depend on specials I feel. Maybe minimal salary like boss charge $50/hr, the masseur keeps $5-10. That's for spas with specials. But how to survive with such a low salary if u dun give specials. The bosses are already well prepared to take the risks to see shop license and pay some heavy penalties.

last time function like health centre, the man boss take half of
massg money,other svc they do, gal keep, gals were veri happy
make money.
now landlord jack up price.
the boss take half of the total money.
cant monitor wat they do inside,
the shop will take all massage money,
shop without recept, gal pay boss a fix rate,per day.
to cover his renovation n rental.

n freelance,home mzsage themselves.
sit whole day may not even get two jobs.

yes ard there bro.
that's y the gals on WPs always lament how little they take home compared to the PRs who earn much more.
If PRs are hardworking, 1 mth $4-5k usually no prob.
Also, the WPs are mostly forced to work the night shifts. If u look at majority of the clean SPAs, the PRs usually work only day shifts.

juz curious, usually if the shop caught with specials, beside licence kantong n fine, will the owner be jailed?
i believe usually such cases, the shop would be registered under a toa pek kong? if caught, he'll bear all d consequences?

legal shop with license the boss will split half-half with the gers. e.g. Massage fee $50, split equally $25-$25 or $22/23/24-$28/27/26 in favour of the boss. After all the boss need to pay for many incidentals including rent, utilities, massage oil, laundry, uniform etc.

illegal shop the boss will collect the $50 and keep herself or at most pay $5-$10 back to the girl. The girl earn from the specials only. Sometimes the boss even make the girl pay 50cts per towel. Another variation is the boss rent the room out to the girl e.g. $200-$300 per day. everything the girl earns she keep.
