The reason is simple. They vividly remember their customers & they are a very sensitive group of people too.

A girl was telling me sometime ago, back home competition among girls were very great. In bad days they would sometimes head home without any $$$. In fortunate circumstances, takings per customer would account for about a third of what they earn "Per Customers' S$25/-" in SG.

They will remember YOU vividly, in their minds, its somewhat like "fate" that you are to meet her that very day. In hope that the "good-days" / "good-feelings" will last.

There is only that "number" of matchsticks you could strike from a box of matches.
