UDD major rally in Bangkok March 14

The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship will organise a mass rally in Bangkok on March 14 to demand that the government dissolve the House of Representatives and call a general election, Veera Musikhapong announced after a meeting of UDD core members on Wednesday.

Mr Veera said the red-hirts would begin gathering at various spots throughout the country on March 12 before converging on Sanam Luang in Bangkok on March 14 for the mass protest.

He said the rally was not intended to instigate violence.

Until March 12, including this Friday when the assets case verdict is delivered, groups of red-shirts were free to do as they please, including gathering to hear the decision, he said.

Natthawut Saikua, one of the UDD leaders, said he expected about one million red-shirts to take part in the demonstration and demand a snap general election.

During the rally, some red-shirts would move out of Sanam Luang for expanded activities at different locations, which he would not disclose.

Mr Natthawut said he could not say how long the rally would last. This would depend on how the government responded to the UDD's demand.

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra would keep in touch with his supporters via video link during the rally, he said.

Thanks for the tip bro, thats y I put a little disclaimer at the top. I dont really frequent gogo bars, I just went to see what it was all about so I just paid whatever they were asking (only if i was really into the girl). Most of the time the ST always stays the night n turns into an LT so I just top her up with a 1000baht tip the next day so it works out ok.

As u can see im not really a big fan of the gogo or mp scene (except amsterdam, I like this place ) Im more into the clubbing n hook up scene, ekkamai/thong lor is sort of my fav area now along with Narz n Scratch Dog in Suk.

I'll be there again at the end of March, so if theres anyone who wants to party just PM me

He is a fisherman and he like to fish and hook up, moreover he don;t simply eat whatever swim in front of him....he like to explore and execute a plan before going for the kill.

Read recent Asian Wall Street that tourist revenues (along with exports & domestic consumption) in Thailand went up 4Q of 2009! So does it mean prices will happily move north unabated now? Lets wait and see how the Red and Yellow Show plays out over the next few weeks/months.

Word of warning ... buddy of mine just got back from LOS and swears something was slipped into his drink in one of the SC bars. After bar hopping his regular joints, he later woke up at one of the smaller bars without any memory how he got there. All his big notes were taken, only small change and luckily credit cards left. He suspects it could have happened in Dollhouse where he spent most of the night. So bros cheonging solo, be on your guard.Best to go with friends.
