I just spent four days in Rangoon. Positive side that kyat exchange rate has started falling down; 1 SGD about 740 kyat and 1 USD about 940 kyat. Negative side that it is more difficult to get Emperor gals for 35 000 kyat LT. One night successful (ok I tip her extra 5000) other nights 40 000 kyat.

Service apartment prices are totally crazy. Marine asked "cool" 4000 USD per month for one bedroom one and three bedrooms are near 8000 USD. I have never thought that Singapore is cheap place to live, but after those prices I had that on my mind.

Hi Bro Longitude,

Yangon hotels rate are now very expensive compared to a couple of years ago. Public safety is also a concern in other parts of Myanmar with religious riot happening more often. So it is no longer a safe and cheap cheonging place.

If you want a decent hotel in a good location, you can try THe EAST hotel which is located just across from Traders Hotel in central Yangon. I paid about US$60 per night last year for a double room with breakfast. It used to be only US$50 two years ago. Now maybe the rate could have gone up another uS$10 but check with them on the net. Good clean room with great staff who speak decent English. Remember to bring condoms as the girls do not have them although you can buy some from guys hanging out at the entrance of the joints. Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

East hotel cost about 100USD nowadays. Too expensive compared to value. Clover City Center and CCC Plus are brand new hotels next to Traders. Those cost around 70-80 USD per night. But note that their rooms are very small.

I'll be back to Yangon on 7 June, currently in the new capital for biz trip.

Most probably will go try the oil massage at Shwegondine on that day. if any Bro here got other nice massage joint to share no, I don't mind exploring and FR if time permits! Must make full use of the day there. Lol

Capital, Nay Pyi Daw has been bloody boring place for me. I have not found much fun over there expect some beer stations.

Any bro in Yangon these 2 days? Thought of going to try JJ Entertainment but alone damm sian and not familiar with the system there. don't know whether will kena ketok or not?

ny bro stay in Inya Hotel before? I have checked from the Google map and noticed that it's about 17 km away from JJ. Any bro can advice how much will the taxi cost to JJ from Inya Lake Hotel?

Actually not very far. There's lot of alternate shorter routes. Not like sg.

But be careful @ JJ.
Better go to Asia Plaza where u can get real nice one.

SKY MAN : nothing AT ALL to fear from JJ .... I have been there several times : it is great FUN !! Try to reach there at 8:30 pm when all the girls arrive so that you get the best choice ON rates from 30k to 50k kyat for regular girls ... beers are cheap too

Yes ... I guess .. sort of a THIRD WORLD O.T.
But the girls & waiters are HARMLESS ... just dont let any waiter or manager get too pushy & hang around you all the time ... they can be very irritating !

I think Asia Plaza night club was closed two years ago. BME 2 night club next to Summit Parkview hotel has also quit nice girls available. They asked 60k kyat for LT.
