I believe that there are brother here that are able to feel the pressure or have felt the pressure before in the same scenario, the truth about this story, Is cold and hard, its not a story with will just show you a guy whom is a king enjoy his life even when he has a few girl he can love them all but it is a balance u love 5 the pain is 5 time as much.

I knew that the hope is low, but I was never thinking on giving up the girls. I decided to drag till the last moment, even if I were to get beaten in school. I tried to throw the matter behind me, (easier said than done) in the end I could not. I did not know if it was due to the previous incident of Pris, that made me rely on Joanne For support.

I paged Joanne, and she returned my call. Before I could tell her about my issues, I could hear her crying.

Joanne: Law....Lawrence... My parents.. they are divorcing.

I could feel the amount of shock she have received, as even I was in shock when I heard it. Imagine if you were her.

I told Joanne that I was going over and I took the envelope and stuffed it into my jeans and took a cab down to Joanne's Place.

Reaching her place, I press on the door bell. I could hear slight screaming and sounds of things breaking, (these don't only happen in movies) Moments later Auntie appeared, She was not smiling this time. She opened the gate and lead me into the house, I see Joanne sitting on the stairway and all Auntie di as look at her and said a word.

Auntie: Siao... (She was doing the loony action,Whirling her finger beside her ear)

Joanne sat there with her hair messy, looking down ( if this were to be a future event I will say that she look like Sadako). I walked up to stairs and sat beside her.

Me: Joanne?

She shook her head lightly.

Me: You want to sit here the whole day?

She shook her head violently.

Me: You.....

Joanne raises her head and lets off a shout. before going to her room and slamming her door.

Auntie walk pass below and look at me: Siao Right?

I smiled

I went to Joanne's door and tried to open it, but it was locked. I had not choice but to sit at the stairway and waited for her to open the door.

I had nothing to do as I watch Auntie clear up the mess she made.

20mins later, Joanne re-emerges from the room.

Joanne: Lawrence, I am ok already

I look at auntie: Siao...

This is the second time I see Joanne behaving like this, the first was at my home. I entered her room and she sat on her chair and I move to seat myself opposite her on the bed?

Me: You better?

Joanne briefly nodded: thanks for coming , at least I know you still care.

Me: so what happened?

Joanne: My Dad called me, and he told me that they have decided.

Me: Like that you also cannot do anything.

Joanne: he ask me to follow him.

Me: You want to follow your mum?

Joanne: I like my Dad better but his company is in US, and I will have to follow him there.

Joanne pulled my hand and we ran down the stairway. Letting go of me at the living room and hugged auntie telling her not to cook and told her she will buy good food for her.

We went to Hougang, Joanne was on a spree we bought food from almost every outlet not doubt it was a bit each I think we bought $130plus of food. Carrying 2 hands full of bags I still had to make that climb up the slope to reached her home.

Joanne asked me to call for auntie as she spreads the living room with food, promising she will clean up later. In the end we still could not finish the food and I had a bloated tummy.

Joanne: You look Fat.

Joanne: Why did you call me in the first place?

I looked and Joanne and the smile on my face was gone.

Me: I think we talk upstairs better.

We packed the uneaten food and briught it to the bin outside.

I told her about what that had happened this morning and she started to laugh.

I did not know why but I took a deep breath and told her everything (Except anything about Christina)

Joanne: You can sleep in the other room after I sleep, Please.

Knowing what that just happened to her, I called my parents and told them what happened. (of course not telling my friend is a she, but I think my dad knew) My Dad was ok with me staying, and told me he will settle my mum. I left Christina a voicemail telling her what happened, But Joanne came to me before I receive her message.

Joanne: Page gf ah?

Me: Yah, just let her know that I am staying here.

Joanne looks at me: Is she ok with it?

Me: Don't know she haven't reply me, but I think will be fine.

Joanne asked me to go up first as she needed to talk to Auntie.

I went up and she came back into the room 10 mins later.

She passed me some toiletries and towel asking if I needed anything more, I told her it was enough. and I waited for her to take her shower and brushed her teeth before going to the bathroom.

by the time I got out she was looking at a book and sitting on the bed, I sat on the chair and waited for my hair to dry before joining her. We were very proper that night, we just laid side by side with her sleeping sideway holding onto my arm.
