I just called them 宝贝。 I guess it stems from my habit of calling my other girls "baby" in English. I like the informality and intimacy of these terms of affection, which most times, actual names won't provide. But Angel , because its obviously not her real name, I casually asked. But I never called her by her real name ever. Lol.

I realise PRCs tend to use more endearing honorifics such as 亲/帅哥/哥哥 etc even outside of this trade. Have been called 哥哥 by PRC stallholders on multiple occasions.
Local stallholders on the other hand are more straightforward with the 小弟 or 来要吃什么 lol

Best way is to ignore such nuisance questions. With no answers, naturally they know they won't get answers. With answers come more questions, more answers more more questions....
