actually i tot the Reds did not look that bad as reported in the media later, just that they lack confidence...new boy Martin Kelly acquitted himself quite well...the main problems were:
1) Reds overall defence still looks shaky and lacks confidence 2) wifout Gerrard/Torres combo cracking on all cylinders Reds lack fire power 3) Yossi was perhaps the Reds most creative n effective player on the pitch, which then makes me wonder why the hell Rafa took him off at such a vital time to replace him wif that pony tail bozo Voronin??...

its make or break time at Anfield this Sunday agst Manure...come on u Reds...

Bro, you have a point but you can't judge Rafa's reign according to the players he let go or failed to develop - much of it due to the to buy, must sell policy of the Yanks. At the risk of repeating myself once more, we scored more goals than anyone else after letting Keane go.

My feel is that the league has become much harder to win now with Chelsea and Scum's dominance (both football and financial). Rafa won the league in Spain twice when Barca and Real were both out of sorts.

I thought we were quite poor really. We didn't play like a home team and Lyon outpassed us embarrassingly easily. We were on the back foot for long periods with little threat on the counter (no Stevie/Torres, no pace).

It's gonna be 5 in a row this weekend ........ we cannot train properly coz Boss nowadays is seldom at the training ground (often been summoned to meetings with the management )....... so training sessions are taken by Sammy Lee.

We dun have a clue on what to do during the next game ....... unless Boss himself is down personally where he would give specific instructions on the role of each player

You may think those are insightful quotes but they are lazy men's speculation. Does anyone still remember why and how all those players were let go? Does anyone want to put themselves in a position where they have to sell before they can buy?

Of course not. Half cooked journalists (and blinkered ex-players) can spin their own yarns and bring them out when the team is struggling. How convenient.

Of course you may still hold on to the same line. The problem with the Rafa regime is how it has divided the fans and ex-players. I'm fine with it. I'll just let the manager do his job the best he can.
