judging from the number of posts here from bkk newbies about having seniors bring them around, the idea of starting a nightlife tour biz could prove lucrative

I'm more interested in the taxi fare from airport to town. It should be around BHT200 to BHT250 depending on where and traffic conditions because I believe that the meters of some taxis operating FROM the airport could be tampered.

I've been coming to Bangkok so many years I know how roughly how much and which way to go. Besides that getting off Rama 9 tollway early they also use the Bangna highway to get a few more bahts off foreigners too.

To all Newbies and BKK noobs,
Make an offer like you will take care of dinner or one bottle of JW Black (less than $100). Show your sincerity instead of just simply asking people bring you around. We are not "gian peng" nor do we owe u. Stay in BKK long enough you can get jaded of the night life so making a good friend is a good excuse to get us out of the house.

As I always mentioned, we have our own life in Thailand. Too tired to entertain so many strangers. I have to be selective and if only I am free n not tired then I will go out.

Samster can also have your own options, to buy me meal, drinks or explore yourself.

Righto. My return fare to swampy was only thb220. Even if I marked up this by 50% to allow for traffic, not anywhere near thb435 getting to same suk hotel. I never paid >300, seems closer to limo touts.

Did bangers with my northern dish, so no finger food or snacking this time around. Admiral Premier got stay 3 but pay for 2 deal (averaging nett 1.8k). Got a quickie return working trip this weekend (undeclared for obvious reasons). Shortlisted Amari Residences Suk (not Petchuburi one) dangerously close to soi 4, going for 2.1k with Tim. Now at swampy waiting for descent to planet earth

I'm new, and I'm planning a trip to Bangkok. Can anyone tell me if Conrad Bangkok is a guest friendly hotel? Someone has given me the points enough to stay there.

If a hotel is not girl-friendly, will they kick away my girl, or do they just need additional fee?

Unsure if Conrad is gf. If not, just cough up joiner fee from thb500. Just book double (hassle if you changing gals daily like your clothes, as you need to register)
