Been to Lolita's (my regular spot), Som's Haven, and Dr BJ (and Nuru, I think now known as Chrome Bar).

Are you looking for massage/soapies or BJ shops? The ones you mentioned are soapies. Soapies offer full service for 2000-3000 baht, and are usually quite big. Other famous soapies are Annie and Cupidy. You go into a big hall, view the girls in a fishtank, and take your pick. They often have a tiered pricing system where the hotter, younger girls costs more. They're usually distinguished by the color of their clothes, or where they are seated. They often have 20-50 girls or more. Obviously, there will be fewer girls in the day compared to night.
BJ Shop are small operations. Pick a girl from the group seated outside, go into the bar and get your business done. 700-1000 baht, depending on the place. 800 baht is the most common pricing. Girls range from mostly old ugly aunties to the rarer pretty and cute girls in their early 20's or so. Usually, they are seated outside so you can take a look, and go to the next bar on your list if none of the girls strike your fancy.
In BKK, be very careful since they operate illegally and hence sometimes the girls are underaged. Well, I've not been there for a long time, so I don't know if much has changed. It's like a typical gogo bar but very small. Inside is a very small stage, a bar counter and some bar stools. Most people are just seated around the bar and drinking and chatting with the ladies.
You may be pressured to pick a girl as soon as you enter, but you don't have to pick one immediately if you don't want to rush into it. Just tell them later. Take a seat at the bar and buy a drink. Like all gogo bars, girls will come to you to chat with you and hope you give them a tip or buy them a lady drink. Some of them have sob stories so it's best not to ask them about their family and background. Like most bars, some girls are quite cute and some are ugly.

Usually they are sitting outside so you do choose them before you go in. If you choose 2 at the same time its basically the same as paying for 1 time. Honestly i feel not worth it if you are expecting a porn fantasy as they usually just take turns. Its not like they will be both on you the whole time, at best the first few mins. They usually will ask you to buy them a ladydrink first, my advice is to be firm and say no to the ones you're not interested in.
Expect your damage to up 1.3-1.5k total and don't go there too early. 9-10pm onwards. You go too early and the mamasan there will just badger you to buy her drinks.
