Panic buying but only arteta and metesacker the better ones. As for Benny, very inconsistent.

I think they will need time to gel as a team again, as the way they play still not up to it yet.

the back line will long strengthen with Per Mertesacker at center with valmanten and santos and segay at the rite..

segay? I believe you are refering to Bacary Sagna. I would like to see them as back four too.
It will provide height & strength (Mertesacker), stability & technical quality (Vermaelan), pace (Satos) and class of Sagna.

Re: Arsenal FC @ Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

Mertesacker looks good, so does Arteta, who had a good first half bossing the midfield.

Benayoun have too little time to make any real impact, but is certainly an Arsenal type of player.

New signings should bring some experience and stability to the squad.

Szczesny is looking better and better.

Frimpong is a class act, but still lack much experience and is prone to giving away free kicks near the penalty area.

Van Persie the only other player worth mentioning in terms of performance.

Rest of the players still playing with low confidence.

Realistic target this year is only top half, finishing 4th will be an excellent achievement . As usual, hope to be proven wrong.

More important now is they cannot afford to lose any more matches now.

Re: Arsenal FC @ Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

Will be interesting to see their performance against Dortmund as Gervinho and Song will be back.

I think lineup will look like this:

Szczesny

Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs/Santos

Song

Ramsey Arteta

Walcott Van Persie Gervinho

The only first teamers not available are Vermaelen and Wilshere. So their performance for this match could be a good gauge for the rest of the season.

Bros of Arsenal, cheer up and stand behind your team. I may not be an Arsenal supporter but I had enjoyed watching some of the Arsenal games in the past and truly Arsenal is one team you cannot overlooked.

I feel sorry for the 2 own goals but it is just one of those things if things dont go right for you, no matter what........

I have expected Arsenal to win its game against Blackburn and with a comfortable margin but alas it was just not Arsenal's night though I have to admit its backline are a bit wavy.

I am certain soon Arsenal will be firing all its 21 guns therefore keep it up, bros.

Re: Arsenal FC @ Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

I believe slowly they will gel as a team.. n i believe they sure can win title with FAB and nasir.. cos last year.. there is a lot of match with both of them and arsenal play very well. Right now, they will need a leader to lead the team first..

They will have to wait Vermaelan to be back to form a good partnership with
Per Mertesacker.

2nd i think jack wilsere must be back with ramsey and Arteta and play charmak frequently.

Re: Arsenal FC @ Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

Koscielny is only good for CL games...back in the bpl when wenger plays the high line, in this match he often sits deeper than Mertesacker.
as a result, keeps playing yakabu onside.
why can't wenger stop playing the high line ?
another sad day for arsenal

Why next season? Losing a battle does not mean you will lose the war. AW is one of the very few managers in the EPL that I consider good. As I said, I am no Arsenal follower but I am confident that Arsenal should be within the top 5, maybe 4 comes May 2012. Look at Liverpool Sunday's early match with Spurs, dont you think they played worst. It was very unfortunate for Arsenal's 2 own goals.
Come on, cheer up it is still early in the league.

I agree with you bro. Well, football is an unpredictable game. Even mighty Real Madrid lost. Man city with millions of spending power lost 2 goal advantage to end up 2-2. Same happenned last weekend with Barcelona. Though They bounced back and beat 8-0.

The big question here is whether Arsenal has that mental strength to bounce back from 4-3 defeat? Only time will tell when they take minnow Shrewsbury in carling cup tomorrow night. AOS may be on the card though I guess odds will be low... or risk takers can bet for an upset.
