Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
He hasn't signed any new striker, so cannot sell yet lor.... Plus, he might need to use Saha as part of an exchange deal to sign a new striker.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
SAF has a habit of signing players who have scored/played well against MU. Hehe.

Heinze 'tempted' by Barcelona
Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze has confirmed he would be interested in a move to Barcelona. The Argentina international is preparing to play in the Copa America and he admitted he could be tempted to join the Spanish giants. Heinze only started 17 Premiership games last season, while his fellow left back Patrice Evra was chosen for 22 games, and reports suggest United could be ready to sell. Heinze said: "I know some clubs are interested in me but I have decided to leave this subject on standby for the moment. "Barcelona is a super-club, like Manchester United. If a formal offer is tabled, I'll need to study it calmly. "Nobody at United has told me I'm not wanted next season. I know the rumours of transfer offers have appeared but that's not a problem for me." Carlos Tevez: looks set to swap Upton Park for the San Siro Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson looks like losing out to Italian champions Inter Milan in the race to sign Carlos Tevez. The Premiership champions have remained tight-lipped over whether or not the West Ham striker is a genuine transfer target, though Ferguson is understood to be keen to lure Tevez to Old Trafford. Chief executive David Gill has admitted that Ferguson wants a new striker and insists funds are available to bring someone in, though United look like being outbid for the Argentine forward. Ferguson is keen to land Tevez on a 12-month loan deal with a view to signing him permanently for around £12 million once the issue of the player's ownership is resolved. Old Trafford officials, including Gill, have reportedly discussed a deal with their counterparts at Upton Park but Tevez, apparently, has told sources that he is not keen on a temporary move to United and would prefer to join Inter instead. Kia Joorabchian, who was behind Tevez's transfer from Corinthians to West Ham last summer, has already spoken to Inter, who are prepared to pay up to £30 million for Tevez and offer him a four-year-deal worth around £75,000 a week. Such a fee would virtually put United out of the chase. Ferguson has already spent £50 million on two summer signings and knows there is a limit to how much cash there is at his disposal. Real Madrid are also in the hunt and hope to hold talks with Tevez's representatives this week, with another interested team, Chelsea, monitoring the situation. Ferguson, who is on holiday in France, could turn to Barcelona's Eidur Gudjohnsen, while Dimitar Berbatov, of Tottenham, and Atletico Madrid's Fernando Torres are also possible targets.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Tevez, costing in excess of 30 million pounds, i say forget it!
Gudjohnsen, whatever price, also forget it! SAF should outbid Juve for Huntelaar. Young and potentially lethal goal scorer. To me a no brainer this one. Haiz...

Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Something about United's new signing Nani......Chelski's scout doubts his ability....
BLUES SCOUT DOUBTS NANI ABILITY Chelsea scout Piet de Visser has had a dig at Manchester United, claiming new signing Nani may not be good enough for the Premiership. De Visser has been asked by Blues owner Roman Abramovich to identify young talent to bring to Stamford Bridge, but has cast doubt on whether United's big-money signing can cut it in the English league. Dutchman De Visser admits the 20-year-old midfielder has huge potential, but reckons his crossing lets him down and claims he holds onto the ball for too long. De Visser, who recommended John Obi Mikel to Chelsea, told The Sun: "This boy is, as far as his skills are concerned, a super talent. "He had his training with Sporting Lisbon and technically he is so good, he is almost perfect. "But I also stress that despite all his talent he may not be right for the Premier League. "His crosses are sometimes OK, sometimes bad. "He dribbles too much with the ball because he wants to entertain, not because he wants to be effective. "Cristiano Ronaldo had the same problem when he first played for United." I like his last sentence best.

Another interesting piece is that Manu will get 2 million pounds from Real Madrid if they win the Laliga cos of some clauses in Beckham and RVN's sales contracts. If they sell Saha, Heinze, Richardson and whoever else, Manu should have enuf to bid for a top striker!

Heinze ignores transfer talk
Reds defender Gabriel Heinze insists he's taking no notice of current media speculation linking him with an Old Trafford exit. Instead, the 29-year-old has his sights firmly set on leading Argentina to the final of this year's prestigious Copa America tournament. "Nobody at United has told me I'm not wanted next season," Heinze told the Sunday Mirror. "I have just enjoyed one of the best years in my career [and the team] played sensationally." Heinze, who made 38 appearances for the Reds in the 2006/07 campaign, has allegedly attracted interest from some of Europe's premier clubs, including Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona. "I know rumours of transfer offers have appeared, but that's not a problem for me. My head is with the Argentina team and the Copa America." Argentina face the United States of America in their opening Group C clash on 28 June.
