now a day, i don't patronize ktv. but do know that they掛羊头卖狗肉, do agree some of them sing well, but for the洒場歌手they must have certain standard there.
Agree that most are old bird(not chio). Did saw one(not sure young or not) got mami escorting and when drinker 毛手毛脚 or forced her to drink mami will come to rescue.

If you plan to come on 28 onward do expect to spend more time at both terminal. Also most tourist spots will be busy. Or I should say very busy.

Yes,unfinished bottle should be able to be brought out of Batam to Singapore.

Tried it about 2 years back when we were left with nearly 1/3 leftovers. I even bought another bottle of Martell from Singapore DFS out too,hehehe...

Not for one who are 1st timer or relatively new to Batam. You are likely to have to be competing with foreign workers from Singapore, the bigger than usual numbers of tour group companies and bros who are escaping CNY ,like myself.

Hehehe...80% of my guides (on my signature) for newbie/1st timer would be useless during CNY's 1st 3 days. Cost of hotels,girls and special services goes up on an average between 20% to 120% (if not higher,calculating from the category mentioned). Most touristy area will be ultra crowded and ferry from CNY eve to 2nd day of CNY will be at least 90% full from their 1st ferry until the 5 pm trip. 80% Batam money changers wont be open for business (they are mostly run by Chinese). And massage parlor is a headache for me every CNY,hehehe...

Close to CNY 2019's date, i might post another series of guide/s specially for CNY time and hung it on signature,hehehe... (for those who knows, there used to be one for Ramadan during Ramadan time too) I need to keep a piece of record for myself to reference in later time.

Speaking base on having been in Batam for 4 CNYs (on CNY eve and CNY 1st 2 days) so far and still counting my 5th for 2019,hehehe....CNY is one of the reason why i am still in Batam and in this thread.

Huh? Sorry bro, i dont get your question. You mean Swissbel hotel in-house massage also have mosquitoes? Or were you looking for a massage place with less or no mosquitoes and yet offer special service?

If so,how about :

1. Staying in Formosa hotel (they have their very own in-house massage)

2. Staying in Utama Hotel or Biz hotel (3 mins walk away from hotel,lots of massage shops),go to shops ,see the girls and have them send to your hotel room? Plenty of Massage shops within 300m radius from the 2 mentioned hotels.

3. New Spa at Batam City Hotel (near BCS mall)

4. Pacific Palace hotel's Octopuss Spa (near Harbour Bay,and near Swissbel too)

5. Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention's Venus Spa (this one is at Batam Center area,about 15 min drive from Nagoya area)

Notice i skipped Delta spa? Hehehe... i dont wish to explain.
