That race already got a no-good name in indonesia (most girls in Batam dont like to serve them), i guess this incident just turn their already bad name badder.

Poor girl (the victim) even have to lose her job due to the gang-rape incident.

Solo massage girl who wish to do in-room massage can also choose to reject customer too, eg if they found more than ONE guy inside the room. I mean the hotel wont blame them if they reject those customers.

Indonesia police (or uniformed authorities) is one of the people i FEARED most in Batam.

Indeed, I simply ignore ojek or taxi drivers if they follow me and I don't need one. After my first "NO", it's their call to insist.

I suggest people, even the most shy Chinese Singaporeans, to be less shy and more firm when dealing with drivers who behave inappropriately.

my virgin experience using Grab there i blur, i took out my phone to match the car license, poor driver kenna harassed and they kept shouting at me and starting kicking that guys car.

Ojek is my way of moving around in Batam, if not on foot.
They are everywhere at any time, always ready. Very convenient.
I try to take ojek also from Newton to Formosa if I am with a girl (some girls will want a taxi). If I am alone I prefer to walk.
