Macaunese love hkd u give them Hkd they give u back MOP small shops will deem hkd1 to mop1 ... The money changer rate is roughly hkd 0.95 =. Mop 1.00.

Hi Bro norice, stated below are d preferred currency in ranking order when you're in Macau.

1) RMB
2) HKD
3) MOP

Another point to take note is that some shops in Macau stated over their cashier counter as "1 RMB = 1 HKD = 1 MOP". Therefore, it is better to use HKD in Macau as d currency exchange between d 2 countries is smaller & you don't need to carry around too many different currencies if you've d intention to travel into 3 countries (i.e. China, HK & Macau). Stated below are d exchange rate, quoted as of today, by using Sing Dollar for your reference.

S$1 = RMB 4.97
S$1 = HKD 6.21
S$1 = MOP 6.39

One important point to note is that over in Macau they don't accept d "HKD 10 coin". Therefore, while you're over at HK & d cashier gave you "HKD 10 coin" as balance change pls reject them politely & tell d cashier that you want either in note form or other coin denomination (e.g. HKD 2 coin).

You can take the ferry from Macau directly to Kowloon side, where you will disembark one major street away from Nathan road or if you choose the ferry to hongkong side, you will be at shun tak centre where you follow the arrows to the mtr station (a bit of a walk) and follow the directions to go to tsimshatsui station which is the beginning of Nathan rd.

Good luck on your gambling, hope you'll be able to cover your mongering outlay plus plus - a nice result I always strive for, but too many times fail on!! LOL

On your tip - yeah, too many times I just cannot believe that I cud lose so many times. Idiot me.

But that gave rise to my "usually" winning strategy and that is to try to spot the worst looking, losing and bedraggled gambler - and bet AGAINST him! Easy to spot these losers in Macau amongst all the big Prc gamblers on the baccarat table.

In Macau, majority of saunas' locker room attendants doesn't provide shorts or robes for usage in the gallery. Therefore, everyone must walk around only with towels or bare balls. AfroAmericans (Blacks), are not welcome in Macau saunas!

Pingtan is the largest island in Fujian, even bigger than Xiamen and the bridge to the mainland had only recently been completed and now the Fuzhou airport is within an hour. Pingtan is actually the closest PRC territory to Taiwan.

This is from a few years ago, but Fuzhou is famous for hot springs/saunas and Pingtan itself is quite a scenic tourist island. So yeah, should have a lot of potential as our new playground.... as I think it already is so for the Taiwanese.
