Hai Phong, Vietnam - need info/intel

Did a search and mostly no info on Hai Phong, Vietnam. According to the internet, this small city suppose to have the largest red light district in VN. But info is almost non-existant. Most I found was it was near an industrial area. So not really sure where this area is located or if RLD actually exist.
Anyone Bros been to Hai Phong with any real intel on cheonging.?
If anyone been there and experience the action, could you recommend a guesthouse of hotel near the RLD. Any info will be appreciated. If it is worth it then I could perhaps plan my newbie trip end of this year.

I just came back from Haiphong in March 2017...my purpose was not to cheong except to go visiting....was there to go Cat Ba and Ha Long...

I dun think you will get much comment or feedback regards to Haiphong...

Let me brief on Haiphong

1. 3rd largest City in Vietnam after HCM, Hanoi
2. very sleepy and peaceful city of 1 mil population.
3. if you going to redlight then just ask the taxi driver to bring you there as only 1 street (hope you speak Vietnamese)
4. VSIP No5 will be build in Haiphong
5. Longest bridge connects Haiphong to Cat Hai will be opening soon
6. The Northern sea port is here in Haiphong.
7. Infrastructure is ready and just need an expat community
8. Cat Bi international airport is ready.

During my trip I dun see many syts....many are working in other cities especially HCM, Hanoi, etc

I knew a few gals in Nha Trang are from Haiphong.

Then perhaps I don't know how to research correctly as I have been through Google search and Haiphong intel on cheonging is very limited. Not saying nothing exist but very limited. Like I said, found that RLD is mainly in an industrial area and less that 1km long with 2-3 story buildings. Maybe its more extensive on some Viet only forums but I am not fluent in Viet. and using translate was mostly time wasted as it was translating a lot of regular talk and not a lot on where to stay and if RLD is still active and if the girls are worth the time.
Also, nothing wrong with "asking" for info here or elsewhere. if anyone been there and could provide some insight. That's what forums are set up for in the first place-- sharing of knowledge for like minds. If I have been to areas, I will gladly provide answers if needed.

i have looked through you post history i see alot of bneging for info, not much of giving info, your definition of shareing very lop sided
BTW Haiphong is the base of major gangs and criminals, they specialise is vice/prostitution, drugs extortion and smuggling due to haiphong port, good luck dealing with them esp since you dont know much dont speak the language, you would make a easy target for them wandering around looking for vice

You are right. My local vietnamese friend advise me not to visit haiphong.
It is known to the locals that haiphong is a place with many gangster, too dangerous to hang around.

You are not entirely correct if you had visited my posts. I only "ask" for intel for
1) areas I am mostly unfamiliar with and need info as to make a choice to visit or not.

2) to clarify a question or situation that someone had posted

3) For the areas Ive been to and have more experience in, I had gladly answered any bros questions and concerns and many had sent me PM questions and I have replied, no strings attach and answers gladly given. I have met up with a few veteran samsters in AC many times in the past but several have already past on. They were some of the best knowleged samsters for AC and other areas of PI and one actually lived in AC for years.

4) I mainly cheong in Philippines (been doing so for over 20+ yrs there) and Thailand (over 10yrs in Pattaya and CM) and Cambodia (over 10 yrs but no longer as quality down and prices way up). Over 10 years ago Cambodia was the best and cheapest place on earth for cheonging. $5 US a day will get you a decent guesthouse with ac for the night, 1 round ST with some SYT (mostly Viet teens) for $3-5 and also your meals for the day are under $1 each so no need to spend more than $15/day all in. Prices so cheap I use to bang at least 3 different SYT a day for under $15 for all 3. Also, the cold beers were cheap for under 50 cents a can. Those were the days
5) Today, I have dropped Cambodia but have added Bali and Jakarta to my cheonging experiences (about 2-3 yrs on and off so still not the expert there yet)

But thanks for the safety tips on Haiphong. Maybe I will give this place a miss.

not sure anyone wants to go there for cheap chicken...taxi cost already killer unless you have own transport...

Its a long time ago but there is 1 sauna FS place along Van Cao just beside a hotel, let me try to see if I still have the name card but no promises hor......

Any spa or massage with bath will have at least happy ending...just nego...gal mainly from the Mien Tay (South)...

Just try not to loiter too much but safe around town...this place is popular triad area and plenty of gang fights...
