HIV infection often has NO symptoms whatsoever. It's only when HIV leads to AIDS do people realise that they are infected, unless, of course, a blood test reveals the infection.

Oh ok.. so as for AIDS, how long will we know if we knna? how long it takes for the symptoms to come? mths or days?

It can take YEARS before the immune system is compromised to the the extent that AIDS related symptoms start to manifest themselves.
