It happens in town too la. Just not high percentage. About 2% or 3% of the population.

I used to work in an IT firm in town. Happened with three or four of my colleagues over the span of 5 years.

Agree with you. It’s all about connection. Me and my colleague were from different departments but we joined the same lunch group. Over time the group dwindled in numbers until only me and her remains. We shared a lot about ourselves and discussed everything under the sun. She still swims and offer me swimming lessons. Great that we clicked and share almost identical interests. She was attached at the time but the long distance relationship was taking it’s toll. Guess I was at the right moment at the right time.
