Happy 10th Birthday to the forum

A) To celebrate the site's 10th Anniversary on the vbulletin platform on 3rd Dec 2011, additional reputation power has been distributed along with the ability to either add to or zap the points of 10 other members over 24 hours instead of the usual 1.

B) A pardon has also been extended to all those who were placed under moderation for profanities against other members without leaving their nicks. If you fall under this category, please let me know in this thread and I'll do the necessary.

The management and staff (that's me) would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their loyal support through thick and thin. It is much appreciated.

Thought I start a thread on this to highlight it to all, just in case anyone misses it. Our forum turns 10 and there seem to be special stuff. Point A suggest that we can add or zap people with the normal power for 10 people (instead of the normal 1 person every 24 hours). I guess this point will be interesting for those with power.

Point B is really interesting. I do know of a few people who unfortunately made the mistake of scolding people without leaving their nicks behind. I am personally informing those guys I know to go seek a 2nd chance by posting at http://sammyboyforum.org.nz/showthread.php?t=60407. This kind of chance, 10 years once. Would be quite wasted to miss it. Please do tell people who are affected to go appeal. If they miss it, quite wasted.

Lastly, perhaps this thread is a place for us to drop our wishlist for the forum going forward. I hope to see a 'Thread of the Year' being awarded. Perhaps the moderators can offer 100 points for the eventual winner. A lot of nice people put in effort to write stories, share download links. Would be great if we can give them recognition. Don't you think? Perhaps we can start a thread for us to nominate threads for 'Thread of the year'. Stop the nomination after 5 days, then select the top 10 nominees. Start a poll thread to let people vote, with the links to the individual threads so that we can re-read the threads again. Whoever receives the highest votes by 1st Jan 2012 wins!

Anyone else got any wish list for the forum? Thanks for having this forum. I've learnt a lot and it did help me pass my time.

TS , your suggestion is nice but I think boss of SBF will not wanna come up with that cause he already had his hands full trying to teach the bros here to differentiate between Advice & Advise ... Not only that , he also need to make sure bros here are not taken in by whores which last but not least he still need to tackle those cyber attacks ... So tell me TS , will all these stuffs he need to do , does he still have time to come up with all those fanciful stuff??
