涉及英国操纵假球案的狮城汉，英国法院昨天判男子共谋欺诈罪名成立。《新明日报》去年报道，33岁狮城汉Chann Sankaran飞抵英国涉操纵球赛，当“说客”要球员踢假球，殊不知全程被卧底的反诈骗机构的调查员录下，在当地被捕。另外，一起被控也包括43岁男子Krishan Sanjey Ganeshan，他拥有英国和新加坡双重国籍。另一名22岁球员Michael Boateng也被提控。
